Assists for Illnesses and Injuries

Throughout the ages, religions have attempted to relieve man’s physical suffering. Methods have ranged from prayer to the laying on of hands, and many superstitions arose to account for their occasional effectiveness. It has been a commonly held belief, however, no matter the method used, that the spirit can have an affect on the body. The fact is, after any necessary medical treatment, the individual himself has an enormous capacity to influence the body and its well-being or lack of it. Following the principle that the only truly therapeutic agent in this universe is the spirit, a Scientology assist is an action undertaken to help a person confront physical difficulties.

Assists for Illnesses and Injuries

Communication with the body lessens when one is ill or injured.

A Touch Assist, as seen here, helps restore a person’s ability to communicate fully with an ill or injured body part. A correctly done Touch Assist can speed a person’s ability to heal or repair a condition with his body.
